Família, Berço Visual Identity

First Lady of Cabo Verde

Developed as part of the national #WeAreEqual campaign, Família, o Berço is a visual identity created for the Office of the First Lady of Cabo Verde. The campaign centers on the family as the foundation of education, emotional security, and societal transformation.

The logo is a poetic and symbolic representation of care and growth. A protective hand forms the base, shaped like a cradle, symbolizing safety and nurturing. A central sprouting seed, echoing the shape of a fetus, reflects transformation and potential. Leaves extend upward, symbolizing personal development and the flowering of knowledge, while a heart-shaped line links everything through affection and love.

The color palette blends earthy brown, natural green, and soft gray tones to evoke warmth, protection, and organic growth. The BILLIERS typeface was chosen for its round, human feel, aligning with the campaign’s emotional and educational message.
